Job Description
Skeleton is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Advanced Engineering team in Lappeenranta.
Would you like to lead high‑impact customer projects in one of Europe's fastest‑growing cleantech companies? We are now looking for a Project Manager with a strong focus on Data Center energy storage projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex, technically demanding customer project deliveries and working closely with engineering, commercial, and operations teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of projects from tendering to completion. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Managing Data Center customer projects, ensuring alignment of technical, commercial, and scheduling requirements.
- Preparing and maintaining detailed project plans and tracking progress.
- Coordinating cross‑functional work between development, commercial, operations, and other internal teams.
- Building and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships.
- Ensuring project delivery within agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
- Managing project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, and P&L.
- Conducting risk management and implementing mitigation actions.
- Contributing to continuous improvement in project management methods and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Electrical engineering skills are preferred, especially for understanding complex Data Center energy requirements.
- Experience in customer project management; experience with Data Center or critical infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with project management tools and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English and Finnish (both are required).
- PMP or similar certification is considered an asset.
