Job Description

Through our innovative and diverse Transformers team and pioneering technology, we transform energy to add social, environmental and economic value - enabling a sustainable energy future for today's generations and those to come. Hitachi Energy offers a complete range of power transformers, traction transformers, insulation and components, digital sensors and transformer services.

Our transformers have a global sales network of about 100 countries spanning applications for power generation, transmission and distribution, metals and mining, oil and gas, commercial and infrastructure projects, and mobility. With increasing complexity in the grid, our transformers are also increasingly used for improving power quality and network management. We introduced our TXpert??? Ecosystem launching the next level for digitalization of transformers.

How you'll make an impact

  • You will be responsible for project execution from the viewpoint of managing project engineers' work after receipt order with good communication with project engineers and project managers in factory.
  • You will manage all technical evaluation done by project engineers such as design review, correspondence to Japanese specific request, so on to meet project specification and engineering requirements.
  • You will collaborate with Hitachi Ltd expert if needed to evaluate HE product correctly.
  • As front-end activity, you will discuss with customers application engineering to be covered with good discussion inside HE such as HUB application engineering group and GPG, if needed.
  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or science, or equivalent.
  • Required with minimum 10 years of experience in power transformer products.
  • Time management, presentation and planning skills.
  • Ability to learn and work in new environment.
  • Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT).
  • Strong in collaborative and communication skills.
  • Strong Japanese and advanced English communication.
