We are looking for a Strategic Purchaser for our site in Surgères.
As a Purchaser, your responsibilities will include
- Formalizing and engaging purchase contracts.
- Negotiating the terms and conditions of purchases, prices, deadlines, incoterms, general purchasing conditions, quality costs, etc.
- Evaluating and validating the supplier's management system against Wärtsilä's requirements. (VMS)
- Developing technical-commercial consultations, analyzing and comparing offers; cost breakdown(CBA), establishing investment budgets; selecting the partner (DAW).
- Keeping purchasing data up to date in ERP systems like SAP; executing requests for quotes and sales orders through the workflow, identifying and working with the pricing team.
- Concluding agreements regarding the handling of non-conformities and penalties.
- Participating in the strategic review of associated categories with the Wärtsilä group and mobilizing the category manager if necessary.
- Participating in supplier audits/evaluations and validations.
- Ensuring our suppliers' ability to meet our needs and the evolution of our requirements.
- Preventing and implementing the alignment of activity volume trends, detecting obsolescence and some resolution, any potential supplier failures, seeking new alternative sources.
- Analyzing indicators (KPIs) and supplier-related data as well as benchmarking, continuously improving and strengthening the supplier network. Dashboard and report to maintain.
To successfully carry out your missions, you should have
- High education with a specialization in purchasing.
- Experience in the industrial field.
- Ability to analyze offers and negotiate.
- Autonomy and rigor.
- Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, data analysis tools like PowerBI.
- Good knowledge of legal aspects and contracts.
- Fluent English.

En tant qu'acheteur vos responsabilités seront les suivantes
- Formaliser et Engager des contrats d'achat.
- Négocier les termes et conditions d'achats, prix, délais, incoterms, conditions générales d'achats, coûts qualité, ...
- Evaluer et valider le système de management du fournisseur par rapport aux exigences Wärtsilä (VMS)
- Elaborer des consultations technico-commerciales, analyse et comparaison des offres, décomposition de coûts ; établir les budgets d'investissement ; sélectionner le partenaire (DAW)
- Maintien à jour les données d'achat dans ERP type SAP ; exécuter via le workflow les demandes d'offre et les commandes des ventes, de l'identification et de l'équipe de tarification.
- Conclure des protocoles d'accords concernant les modalités de prise en charge des non-conformités et des pénalités.
- Participer à la revue stratégique des catégories associées avec le groupe Wärtsilä et mobiliser le responsable de la catégorie (Category Manager) si nécessaire.
- Participer aux audits/évaluations des fournisseurs et validations.
- Sécuriser la capacité de nos fournisseurs à répondre à nos besoins et l'évolution de nos exigences.
- Prévient et met en œuvre l'adéquation des tendances de volume d'activité, la détection d'obsolescence, toute défaillance fournisseur possible, recherche de nouvelles sources alternatives.
- Analyser les indicateurs (KPI) et les données relatives aux fournisseurs ainsi que l'analyse comparative (benchmark), améliore et renforce en permanence le réseau de fournisseurs.
