Job Description
The technical marketing engineer for Mission Critical telecommunication Solutions (MCS) has the global responsibility to enable the Pre-Sales & Sales community of the different regional HUBs to understand technical market requirements for wired telecommunication networks and ensure customer interaction in line with global solution/product strategy. Support sales organizations in driving sales by your technical expertise. Provide relevant customer & market inputs to product management and R&D activities, ensuring market alignment and relevance.
How you'll make an impact
- You will support Global Projects by adapting HVDC Base Control & Protection Software (MACH).
- You will design HVDC Protection Logics and Algorithms for HVDC Protects across the globe.
- You will set up and maintain control and protection lab environment for HVDC Base projects.
- You will develop Control and Protection Functions / Solutions for future HVDC technologies.
- You will perform Power system protection studies using EMT tool based on Project requirement to optimise fault detection algorithms and setting philosophies.
- You will support projects in resolving the issues related to Control and Protection Functions.
- You will coordinate with different stakeholders across the business units to get inputs to optimise the HVDC solutions.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- You hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience in in Control and Protection system.
- Experience in technical tender support or bidding.
- Experience in substation environment and protection application.
- You must have Knowledge & Skills in PSCAD, MATLAB, or any other Simulation Software.
- Basic knowledge on IEEE / IEC standards, knowledge & experience MS Office in Word, Excel.
- Self-starter calibre who could own tasks through to completion, strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
