BURN is looking for a Production Supervisor who will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This role is responsible for driving team performance, improving operational efficiency, and coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement on the production floor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide training in the line for the operators. This could be training to new recruits, refresher training for current operators or training on a new line for existing operators.
- Work closely with QC to help troubleshot causes of quality issues in the line.
- Ensure output meets the hourly targets.
- Ensure all operators are as effective as possible and working to Standard Operating procedures.
- Work closely with the team leaders to ensure targets for the day is met.
- Help in data collection and communication channels as applicable.
- Ensure PPEs are well used and in good order.
- Stand in for any absenteeism in the lines.
- Coordination and manning night shifts, where necessary
- Ensuring daily operations are updated in the appropriate systems and logs
- Work on continuous improvement actions to close to improve Productivity, safety, Quality.
- Should have the basic knowledge of electronics.
- Maintain proper 5s into the factory.
- Should be able to create production orders and stock take for all FG and raw material available on the production floor.
- Should also have experience in handling warehouse operators.
- Follow up with maintenance team to ensure fast response to Breakdowns.
- Any other duties as assigned by the manager.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years' relevant experience in a production supervisor role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with ERP systems is required.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
