Responsibilities

Equipment Monitoring

  • Monitor equipment conditions using all available indications.
  • Conduct remote error analysis through SCADA systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting remotely, taking responsibility for deciding on further measures.
  • Create and assign tickets to relevant stakeholders.
  • Set up and optimize alarms for efficient system monitoring.

Performance Data Monitoring

  • Continuously monitor the performance data of PV systems.
  • Create switching orders based on evaluations of operating data and associated reports.
  • Document events, logins/logouts for seamless access monitoring on-site.

Site Security

  • Initiate action plans in case of intrusion.
  • Report unusual activities and alarm activations to responsible persons.
  • Provide detailed reporting of all security incidents.
  • Conduct remote control and troubleshooting of the security system and infrastructure.
  • Conduct frequent quality checks of the entire alarm chain.
  • Monitor site security equipment, including checking CCTV systems.

Data Review & Analysis

  • Check performance data for completeness, fill gaps, correct calculations, and consider excludable events.
  • Recognize and analyze trends in the performance data.

Meta Data Administration/Quality Check

  • Administer and quality-check metadata for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure the quality of static data according to data ownership in the monitoring center.

Qualifications (Recommended)

  • Recommended electrical engineering education and/or several years of experience in technical operation in the PV branch.
  • Confident in business discussions/negotiations.
  • Recommended experience in working in a project matrix organization.

Additional Qualifications

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Previous experience in monitoring and troubleshooting PV systems.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of security systems, including CCTV.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.
