Your position

You will be joining our access and coating team in the Oil & Gas division. We are dedicated to conducting operations with qualified and experienced staff who take care of a variety of repair work both onshore, offshore and internationally. You will be based in the Esbjerg office, however offshore & onshore site visits and trips must be expected. The access and coating team works with providing services relating to fabric maintenance, rope access / scaffolding, electrical, rigging and mechanical works.

Your tasks & responsibilities

You will be an important asset to our Access and Coating group where you will be responsible for taking leadership on project operations. This means you will be responsible for all duties and tasks associated with the start and ending of projects.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Planning, preparation, and execution of a wide variety of jobs on oil & gas, industrial plants and wind farm structures.
  • Responsible for all rope access activities
  • Planning and coordinating tasks for onshore and offshore related jobs in the energy industry related to:
    • Personnel selection
    • Planning and maturation meetings
    • Equipment selection and packing
    • Preparation of work packages and creation of procedures
    • Execution and ensuring project progress in timely manner
    • Project completion including closing documentation
    • Planning and coordinating rope access operations related to:
    • Defining and planning safe systems of work
    • Risk analysis and control systems
    • Communication with teams
    • Compliance to Semco procedures and IRATA ICOP
    • Equipment selection and inspection
    • Liaison with customers for upcoming and future projects
    • Being involved in carrying out special tasks according to inquiries made by our customers
    • Carrying out business development and implementing new service solutions

Your profile & qualifications

We are looking for an experienced professional with extensive experience form the offshore industry. You must be well versed in the daily activities of Offshore Fabric Maintenance. It is important that you are driven by seeing the results of your work and that you are a great team-player who is also able to work independently.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you:

  • Have project experience (via education or certificate)
  • Have sound planning and coordination skills with a proven track record of planning jobs with all involved steps
  • Have offshore experience / experience with co-ordination and controlling of operations
  • Have mechanical experience (coating, mechanical or E&I would be a plus)
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Are fluent in Danish and English, verbal and written
  • Are comfortable and enjoy working with people from multiple different cultural backgrounds
