Job Description
The IT Associate Data Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain enhancements to core data warehouse applications as requested by our business partners. The incumbent will develop and maintain ETL pipelines required to populate dimensional data models. This individual will also utilize Azure cloud-based services to research and respond to complex data inquiries and adhoc data analysis as requested. The Associate Data Engineer will triage and resolve issues across all areas of Eversource’s Enterprise data platform solutions.
Essential Functions
- Understanding code development that is compliant and meets high standards/quality, delivers desired functionality using cutting edge technology.
- Taking ownership of delegated tasks and helping other team members.
- Design Data mappings and contribute to Data catalogs.
- Hands on experience in designing and building data pipelines for ETL related jobs.
- Work in a team to ensure that all components meet objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and experience with tools like Git, Jenkins, or Bamboo for version control, automated testing, and deployment.
- Experience of building data processing pipelines for use in production “hands off” batch systems, including either traditional ETL pipelines and/or analytics pipelines.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications
Technical Knowledge/Skill: Azure Ecosystem, ETL, Hands-on experience with technologies such as Azure, Informatica
Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in a related field. Computer Science preferred.
Experience: 0-3 years related experience
Licenses & Certifications: Any Cloud certification preferred.
Working Conditions
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits
Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position starts at $73,580.00 to $81,760.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.
