Overview
The Project Development team at Silicon Ranch is looking to hire in-person or remote interns for a paid internship (course credit available in lieu of pay).
This position is responsible for supporting Silicon Ranch’s greenfield site development strategy and project development execution that provides a unique opportunity to engage in solar development across the Country.
Main Responsibilities
In this position, the intern will assist the Project Development team with:
- Identifying potential sites for utility-scale solar projects
- Researching landowner contact information and conducting landowner outreach
- Creating and maintaining site trackers
- Conducting desktop analyses and synthesizing research for Silicon Ranch’s leadership
- Assisting with negotiations for land purchases
- Assist with Project Management of projects in Development
- Special Projects as may be identified
We are seeking a well-organized individual with exceptional interpersonal skills—capable of contributing to the team right away. Further, the ideal candidate possesses the ability to independently solve problems and create value through the site location process. This position requires excellent time-management and communication skills.

Manager, Project Development
Qualifications
Silicon Ranch is looking for current students (preference to Juniors and Seniors) or recent graduates who can commit to 20–40 hours per week. Experience or course work in project management, energy management, land development, real estate, or environmental science required.
