Job Description

Ameresco, Inc. (NYSE:AMRC) is a leading cleantech integrator and renewable energy asset developer, owner and operator. We are currently seeking a Regional Construction Manager based in Alaska to lead our federal construction project teams responsible for implementing renewable energy projects.

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, and Procore
  • Scheduling experience using Primavera P-6 preferred
  • Strong technical communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative and technical management of construction projects delivering energy savings
  • Partner with Engineering and Construction Team in project design and development
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive cost and best schedule
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality control and project delivery
  • Provide ongoing project status updates throughout design and construction
  • Evaluate technologies and equipment; recommend the most suitable for each application
  • Lead project implementation of site safety and health plans, operations manuals, and training activities
  • Provide project reports, documentation, and technical assistance
  • Manage project teams and resources, including expenditures and job cost accounting
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, practices, codes
  • Foster positive business relationships at all levels
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of industrial power, electrical/solar, mechanical, or engineering construction project management experience
  • Proven experience with OSHA safety standards and project management regulations
  • Experience in managing complex facility infrastructure construction and energy services
