The Gist
In this role you will drive the process/metrology/defect reduction roadmap to meet technology development requirements.
The Day-to-Day
- Drive defect reduction roadmap to meet technology development requirements
- Respond to deviations in process control and manage out of control (OOC) action plans.
- Develop strategy to partition defectivity problems and establish systems/processes in place to eliminate re-occurrence.
- Develop recipes on Inspection tools to capture specific Defects.
- Support high volume manufacturing as part of factory startup.
- Document all aspects of the procedure in controlled documents and provide training to operators, technicians and engineers.
- Establish relationships across various departments to drive cohesive learning and cross functional problem solving.
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements)
- Degree in Engineering, Physics or related STEM field
- Understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment in Fabrication
- Ability to work in a fast paced, responsive, team-driven manufacturing environment.
- Must be flexible for urgent technical support.
This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.
Compensation Range:
$65,000.00 - $89,000.00
