HDF Energy is recruiting an enthusiastic and proactive team player for local project development to support our growth.
Scope of work
- Contribute to the development strategy for the German market and monitor market & sector insights, competitor actions and new market trends to identify business opportunities
- Coordinate development and tender submission for hydrogen power plants in Germany
- Identify suitable locations for HDF’s hydrogen power plants and manage the acquisition
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments (technical, legal, finance, etc.) to optimise the development of projects
- Lead negotiations with supplier, partner, offtaker and other stakeholders
- Be the contact person and grow solid relationships with key stakeholders including administration, politics, trade associations and other local stakeholders
- Attend various events and trade exhibitions to expand HDF’s visibility in the market and to become a hydrogen evangelist
Qualifications
- Self-motivation combined with excellent organizational as well as good communication and negotiation skills
- 1-2 years of professional experience in project development in the energy sector
- Good knowledge of the German regulatory framework and energy sector (gas, power and/or hydrogen)
- Resilience and keen to support long term project development (2-5 years)
- Willingness to travel locally in Germany and to the headquarters in Bordeaux
- Fluency in German and English (required) with excellent written and oral communication skills to successfully interact with customers, management and the rest of the team (French is a plus)
