Job Description

As a key technical member of the cross-functional team, your mission will be to develop the best Tigo energy products and establish the Tigo ecosystem as the center and backbone of the DER. Your role will involve owning the integration between Tigo products and our increasing number of partners and products worldwide. You will be involved throughout the entire development process, including design, testing, qualification, and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of inverters, energy storage systems, EV chargers, and other systems used in home energy systems, and be able to operate and test these systems in our test facilities.
  • Work closely with both hardware and software engineering teams internally and externally with partners to draft the integration design and serve as the main technical contact.
  • Coordinate and manage the field testing, system qualification, and certification processes.
  • Manage integration and product pilot in person.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of professional hands-on experience with PV inverters, energy storage, or similar hardware products (testing and integration).
  • Project/Product Management experience.
  • Electrician experience/knowledge.
  • Comfortable working with PV and ESS in the field.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, construction, and product assemblies.
  • Comfortable working with all communication protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter and organized.
