Euclid Power is a renewable energy software and services company that is building the operating system for the renewable energy industry; we make data management and workflow tools to help project developers and investors build more renewable energy projects. We believe it's time that the process of deploying renewable energy projects is powered by software, as much as social media or online ads are.
Euclid is trusted by some of the largest solar investors, solar developers, utilities, and technology integrators to provide software, guidance, and project diligence support. A world-class team of renewable energy, software, product and project management veterans lead Euclid. Our solutions have driven the creation of over 3GW of renewable energy capacity across hundreds of projects. That's enough to power 300 small cities!
Our company is committed to hiring talented team members and advisors who are hardworking, passionate, and committed to our mission. Hires at this stage will immediately contribute to the DNA of our product, processes, and, most importantly, culture. At Euclid, learning, growing, and testing the best ideas are central to our approach to solving one of the world's most important challenges: climate change.
About The Role & Team
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer for our Product team. This role reports to our Staff Product Designer, a human-centered design leader who is looking to collaborate with and support/mentor a designer teammate. You will be joining a small team of folks who are committed to making a sizable impact on the future of the renewable energy industry.
This is a great opportunity to work at the intersection of climate and tech. You’ll get the opportunity to fully understand the problems and opportunities, design how people use our tools, and by extension, help us create more renewable energy in the world. We are looking for someone who aligns with and contributes to our values: excellence, ownership, customer obsession, think big, growth and care. This is a remote role with hubs in New York, San Francisco, and Portland. We are only hiring candidates based in the US at this time.
What You’ll Do
- Create user-centric designs that balance business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Apply strong visual design skills to create clear and cohesive interfaces that reflect Euclid's brand and product values.
- Quickly iterate on concepts, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Partner with Product Management and with Services throughout the product lifecycle to understand user needs, define problems and opportunities.
- Partner with Engineering to implement design ideas to make them elegant, efficient, and consistent.
- Maintain and evolve Euclid’s design system to build for aesthetic quality, usability, and visual language.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of UX/UI or Product Design experience, preferably with web applications.
- A portfolio showcasing case studies and process behind your designs.
- Experience designing for complex workflows and information structures.
- Understanding of human-centered design, design tools (Figma preferred, but Adobe XD, Sketch, etc. okay as well), and design systems.
- Ability to communicate design decisions and processes regardless of the audience – non-technical founders, PMs, engineers, other designers, etc.
- An appetite for navigating competing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A passion for exploring new design patterns, processes, tooling and emerging technologies.
- Nice to have: Experience applying a brand visual language.
What We Provide
- Benefits package (401K, Health Insurance, Remote Work, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays)
- Opportunity for early equity awards and share in the growth of the firm you are helping build
- Professional credential obtainment sponsorship (PMP, PE, CFA, Software)
- Multidisciplinary exposure and training (Tax, Legal, Finance, Diligence, Engineering etc.)
- Opportunity to learn and grow in a truly supportive, collaborative, dynamic, and diverse environment
- Exposure to high-profile, industry-leading clients, products, and technology
- Work that matters
We are committed to building an inclusive working environment and doing our part to create a more equitable world. We strongly encourage applicants from underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities to apply.
The base salary range for this role is $137,000 - $186,000 with an equity award as part of your all-in compensation. The actual base salary and equity is dependent upon many factors, such as education, experience, skills, and internal compensation equity.
