Job Description

At PosiGen, we are passionate about providing money saving solar energy and energy efficiency solutions for people of all income levels. We are seeking an equally passionate Solar Foreman to help further our mission through excellent craftsmanship, customer service, and a team-focused approach.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise and lead a team of solar installation technicians, ensuring efficiency and high-quality workmanship.
• Uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer communication.
• Install solar systems in compliance with NEC and building codes using layouts, line diagrams, and engineering reports.
• Measure, cut, and install structural reinforcements as needed.
• Securely mount racking and electrical equipment following industry best practices.
• Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of installation equipment.
• Ensure a clean and organized worksite throughout each project.
• Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and OSHA requirements; complete OSHA training as needed.
• Participate in company meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions as required.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Solar experience required
• Minimum of three years of experience working on roofs preferred
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• Must be flexible based on customer availability
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willing to move through the pre-employment screening process
