Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead our renewable energy development efforts in North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
Salary Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $138,000 - $160,000. Bonus eligibility applies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the renewable energy sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including commercial, engineering, and support services, to deliver comprehensive project proposals.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions, providing valuable insights to business leaders.
- Represent RES at industry events, networking and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of ongoing support services programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of CRM software and its applications in sales and marketing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
- Able to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, as required by the role.
