Basic Job Functions

The Senior Manager, Project Development will be responsible for leading the development of utility-scale solar projects in the United States. This position will be responsible for managing the project development process from site identification through commercial operation. The Senior Manager, Project Development will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are developed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
7+ years of experience in project development, project management, or related field
Experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly solar, is preferred
Strong understanding of the project development process, including permitting, interconnection, and financing
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and teams

Required Skills/Competencies

Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Essential Responsibilities
