Job Description
At Voltalia we are passionate about renewable energies! We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M and Distribution. Today we are in 20 countries, split among 4 continents, and offering a global operating capacity to our clients. We are listed on the regulated Euronext market in Paris since July 2014.
To support the EPC Project Manager controlling and supervising the project on the following tasks:
- Supervision of all mechanical and civil works
- Compliance with the planning
- Compliance with quality and HSE plans
The EPC Site Supervisor (Civil/Mechanical Works) undertakes a variety of tasks relating to monitor, support and control the execution of the works on site.

Construction Management
- Manage mechanical and civil aspects of construction projects, including developing project schedules, estimating budgets, procuring equipment and materials, and overseeing installation and testing processes.
- Supervise and manage construction activities, including site preparation, material procurement, and equipment selection. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor construction progress, address any issues or conflicts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and timely completion.
- Maintain daily reporting regarding the site activities by photos.
- Being in all Weekly and Monthly meeting and reporting all the site problems.

Compliance with Codes and Standards
- Ensure that all mechanical systems and installations comply with codes, regulations, and safety standards. Stay updated on local and national codes and make sure the designed systems adhere to them.

Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with EPC team, contractors, and other professionals involved in the construction project.
- Effectively communicate project requirements, address concerns, and coordinate activities to ensure project success.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
- Be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving problems when issues arise during construction. This could involve diagnosing mechanical and civil faults, recommending and implementing solutions, and ensuring systems are operating safely and efficiently.

Documentation and Reports
- Report to the Site Manager the project site activity.
- Maintain accurate project records, including design drawings, specifications, progress reports, and correspondence.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to update stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree and/ or 5 years of experience in a project construction supervision role
- Driver's license (B)
- General knowledge in the energy sector
- In depth knowledge of machinery, mechanics inspection, calibration process
- Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools
- In-depth knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations
- Proficiency in professional English (writing, comprehension, and communication)
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, etc.)
