As a GWO Instructor at GWS Academy, your primary goal will be to ensure that our Academy remains at the forefront of the renewable energy industry by providing top-notch training to aspiring and experienced wind turbine technicians. Your expertise and dedication will help shape the future of the wind industry, ensuring safety and excellence in all training programs.
Your key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions in Working at Heights & Blade Repair following GWO standards,
- Ensure compliance with the latest GWO guidelines and safety updates,
- Contribute to the development of new training programs,
- Assist in ordering training material and equipment needed for trainings,
- Provide support to delegates during their training to ensure a smooth learning experience,
- Help with daily housekeeping of the training facility.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written),
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in blade repair,
- Background in rope access (preferred),
- Strong computer skills, including document preparation and PowerPoint creation,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude,
- Ability to effectively share knowledge; teaching experience (not necessarily within the wind industry) is highly desirable,
- Strong organizational skills and research skills,
- Valid Category B driving license.
