With over 6,000 employees in more than 20 countries, Statkraft is one of the leaders in hydropower internationally and the largest generator of renewable energy in Europe. The Norwegian group produces hydropower, wind power, solar power, gas-fired power, and provides district heating.
With actions guided by ethics and transparency, the company is headquartered in the city of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina (SC). Currently, it controls 26 renewable generation assets in Brazil. In November 2023, Statkraft signed the purchase of Enerfín, the renewable subsidiary of the Spanish company Elecnor, which includes nine operational wind farms in the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Rio Grande do Norte. Thus, the company became one of the largest wind power generators in Brazil, surpassing the mark of 2.2 GW of installed capacity, including acquisitions, constructions, and operations in the country.

Job Description
We are looking for someone who can lead the development and the implementation of portfolio tools for the Asset book, and support and propose commercial strategies for the asset portfolio, taking into consideration the expansion of the asset fleet (greenfield and M&A projects) also as R2M opportunities.
As parte of this role, you will also:
- Develop, improve and maintain the modelling of portfolio tools for the Asset book;
- Propose and assess commercial strategies for the asset portfolio, focusing on long-term value creation and risk mitigation aspects;
- Support Energy Management team on suggesting commercial strategies for maturities up to Y+5;
- Assess the impact of Greenfield and M&A projects on the asset portfolio, including base case and sensitivities scenarios;
- Support BD and M&A teams on the related processes;
- Estimate the impact of R2M opportunities (LT PPAs, self-productions, etc) on the asset portfolio, taking into consideration updated market inputs from commercial teams (Trading and Origination);
- Liaise closely with the risk department on P&L estimations and risk measurement for the Assets portfolio.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economy or Business Administration;
- Post Graduation in engineering or economics;
- Solid experience in the electricity sector in Brazil;
- Experience in portfolio management;
- Knowledge in Risk Analysis and R / Python coding;
- Fluent English and Portuguese.
