Natron Energy is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant you will work with various functions within the organization related to cost accounting processes, financial management, internal policy and control, audit, tax, accounting, IT, HR, and overall administrative operations. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory compliance, and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee cost accounting process, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial regulations.
- Communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to executives, board members, investors, and employees through both written and verbal presentations.
- Utilize financial management software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools to streamline financial operations and reporting processes.
- Maintain high ethical standards and integrity in financial decision-making, fostering trust with stakeholders and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Adapt financial processes, systems, and strategies to evolving business needs, leading and managing change effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop financial models, conduct scenario analyses, and interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
Experience and Skills
- B.S. or B.A. in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required, Masters preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial statement understanding and analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, and other platforms. (NetSuite experience preferred)
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to managing multiple tasks and thriving under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
