Job Description
Join Our Team as Key Account Manager for South Europe and South Africa at Wind1000, a FairWind Group Company.
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long-term relationships with the key customers within the SE&A market. To contribute to health business development and achieving annual goals.

Reports to: Head of Sales SESA
Location: Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain solid, long-term trusting relationships with Key Clients (OEM).
- Identify, develop and expand new business by proposing customized solutions that meet Client’s objectives.
- Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices, performing proper research and competitive analysis.
- Maintain effective frame agreement, bids and guide the tender specialist team as an owner of Sales process within Onshore projects during the quotation phase according to the market/customer needs.
- Complex price negotiations and quoting, including all project scopes with a contribution from the supporting business units (Cranes, Warehouse & Logistics, Service, Onshore etc).
- Turnover and Contribution Margin delivered across regions executing the specific OEM projects.
- Exhibited growth in scope per sold project.
- Capacity utilization factors increased or maintained on high level.
- Cash flow management.
- Positive / improved client satisfaction survey outcome.
- Quality and safety rates management (LTI, snagging list, etc).
- Provide primary Client interface, research on Client needs and requirements, address and effectively resolve complaints.
- Meeting all necessary deadlines, formal requirements (signatures etc) and documentation submission.
- Maintain close and effective communication and collaboration with Head of Regions, Head of Cranes, Head of Service, Head of Onshore, Engineering & Quality, Head of Operations, and other internal FairWind Group Departments to ensure proper information flow. Seek synergies between all departments and identify new possible opportunities.
- Measure and track key account metrics (including OEM financial condition/results monitoring) for internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Run 12-, 24- and 36-months Business Forecasts.
- Make a budget as well as active regular control of OEM Turnover and Contribution Margin on sold projects, allow of verification of all used assumptions in real time.
- Collect performance figures from finished projects (hours, equipment, tools, scope, lodging, project needs etc) to compile reports as input for further pricing.
- Monitor, follow-up and highlight internally on performance of OEM ongoing projects to secure highest customer service and Client’s satisfaction.
- Active sales and represent in relevant Wind Industry events.
Skills / Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and contractual understanding.
- Customer service skills and mindset.
- Education in Business Administration, Finance, Sales or Engineering.
- Strong commercial Wind industry network and contacts database.
- Commercial project management skills.
- Proficient in Outlook, especially PowerPoint and Excel and other relevant software.
- Native or C1 level for Spanish and English is a must.
