Key Roles and Responsibilities

This internship is intended to support data-driven projects, including but not limited to our current initiative, Thermal OS. The individual will work under the guidance of a senior team member to assist in data collection, preprocessing, analysis, model development, and dashboard deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Cleaning:
  Assist in gathering data from various sources and ensure its quality through thorough cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
• Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA):
  Perform initial data investigations to identify trends, patterns, and potential insights that guide further modeling efforts.
• Model Training & Validation:
  Support the development of predictive or classification models by helping train, evaluate, and refine them using standard machine learning libraries and frameworks.
• Model Deployment:
  Collaborate with engineers or senior data scientists to integrate models into production environments or applications.
• Dashboard Development & Data Processing:
  Contribute to building interactive dashboards for visualizing key data metrics and automating data pipelines for ongoing data tasks.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
• Basic experience in machine learning modeling using Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with SQL and working with relational databases.
• A strong willingness and eagerness to learn new skills and tools in the data science ecosystem.
