Are you ready to lead an exceptional team and play a pivotal role in transforming the energy industry and the way large utility companies engage with their customers? Are you excited to drive strategic sales efforts, build meaningful relationships, and expand our business within the utilities sector?

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and organized Head of Sales to lead our focused 5-person sales team, targeting the utilities sector. This role reports directly to the CEO, offering the opportunity to shape and execute the company’s strategic sales vision. The team includes Account Executives (new business), Account Managers (existing clients), and a Solutions Engineer supporting complex deals. Beyond your leadership responsibilities, you will play an active role in driving and closing strategic deals. We operate a highly targeted, account-based sales model, concentrating exclusively on large enterprise utility clients.

Your mission is to drive rigorous execution of the sales process, instil discipline around performance metrics, and foster urgency and accountability across the team. You’ll lead both new business development and existing account growth, ensuring that customers stay healthy, renew successfully, and expand their footprint with us.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive a structured enterprise sales process across both new business and account management.
  • Instil routines and discipline around metrics—pipeline hygiene, CRM accuracy, forecasting, and activity tracking.
  • Lead, coach and hold accountable a team of AEs, AMs, and a Solutions Engineer.
  • Drive urgency and performance across the sales cycle.
  • Support Account Managers in ensuring client health, retention, and expansion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Delivery and Finance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales playbooks, tooling, and team enablement.

Who You Are

  • A seasoned professional with over 7 years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in account-based sales and managing a high-performing team.
  • Background in SaaS sales; utilities/energy sector experience preferred.
  • Highly skilled in analyzing sales metrics, maintaining process discipline, and executing structured sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with customer health scoring methodologies.
  • Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with technical presales and long-cycle enterprise sales.
  • Background in regulated industries or public-sector sales.
  • Track record of scaling a sales function or leading through change.

📍Location

Gothenburg (on-site), or remote within Sweden, with regular travel to HQ.
