Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Wind Resources Engineer to join our team in Istanbul, Turkey. The successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of wind resource assessment projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. This role will involve working closely with senior engineers and project managers to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection and analysis of wind resource data from various sources, including meteorological towers and remote sensing devices.
- Support the development of wind resource assessment reports, including data interpretation and presentation of results.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct energy production estimates and feasibility studies for wind projects.
- Participate in field campaigns for data collection and site assessments.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in wind resource assessment methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Meteorology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, R) is a plus.
- Familiarity with wind resource assessment methodologies and tools is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork and site assessments.
