Job Description

Clobotics is looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer or Production Technologist to strengthen our R&D team. We’re developing the world’s first drone-deployed robotic repair system for wind turbine blades – both onshore and offshore. If you’re passionate about robotics, automation, and cutting-edge field applications, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact.

What you’ll do

  • Design and develop robotic tools and handling systems for advanced repair solutions.
  • Create and manage CAD models using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Prototype, build, and test new mechanical concepts – from rapid iterations to field-ready systems.
  • Work closely with robotics engineers and software developers to integrate mechanical solutions into complex robotic systems.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, CE-marking, and user manuals.
  • Support training programs for trainers and service staff.
  • Participate in field deployments and testing, with approx. 20–40 travel days per year.

We are looking for

  • A mechanical engineer, production technologist, or equivalent with hands-on prototyping skills and a strong technical mindset.
  • Proficient user of Autodesk Inventor with a solid understanding of mechanical design principles.
  • Experience or strong interest in robotics, drones, and automation.
  • Comfortable with English (written and spoken) in a professional technical context.
  • A structured, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • A collaborative team player with a problem-solving attitude and a desire to build world-first technology.
