Job Description
As a Solar Consultant, you will be responsible for attending pre-set scheduled appointments with homeowners and educating them on the benefits of solar energy. The Solar Consultant must be willing to work evenings and weekends, as well as travel to appointments in the local area.
Responsibilities
- Attend pre-set scheduled appointments with homeowners
- Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy
- Conduct site assessments and provide accurate solar estimates
- Assist homeowners in understanding financing options
- Follow up with leads and maintain customer relationships
- Meet or exceed sales targets
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of solar energy systems is a plus, but not required
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
