Project Manager (m/w/d)

Your new department

You will join our engaged and dedicated Project Development team in Poland, which currently consists of eight colleagues. Their primary aim is developing renewable energy projects (Wind, PV, and BESS) in Poland. We have a strong pipeline ahead of us and are currently working on many projects at various stages. The team collaborates closely with colleagues based in our HQ in Copenhagen and you will do the same.

In collaboration with your experienced and motivated commercial, legal, and technical colleagues, you contribute to assessing the feasibility and potential of projects and bringing them through the construction stage. Finally, you will consult and survey partners and subcontractors securing continuous development and construction of our project portfolio in Poland.

Your new role

As our new Project Manager, your focus will be on developing and handling our wind-, solar (PV) and battery storage (BESS) projects in Poland. We expect to expand the team, which will bring interesting opportunities to this role.

Areas of responsibility

• Onsite works including land scouting, identification, assessment, initiation discussions and negotiation with landowners.
• Development of projects in Poland from early stage through obtaining all administrative-legal decisions until handover to the construction and operations teams.
• Coordination of interdisciplinary project teams with internal departments and external service providers.
• Management of the existing agreements with external developers and service providers.
• Support activities aimed at obtaining technical grid connection conditions for the respective projects.
• Assisting in the construction of BESS, PV, and wind farm projects.

Prerequisites to progress in the job

• You have a relevant university degree or similar, e.g., in engineering, economics or similar.
• You have significant experience with project management and developing large infrastructure projects in renewable energy, for instance from a similar role.
• You have excellent communication skills and are a team player.
• You are fully proficient in English and Polish.
• You have experience with GIS, Windpro and PV Syst and are an expert user in MS Office and Excel.
• You have a driving license.

You have solid interpersonal and collaboration skills to negotiate with various stakeholders. You show flexibility, have good structural skills, and thrive in a motivated and multidisciplinary environment. The position entails navigating in a dynamic environment with many stakeholders and occasional challenges, which is why you must thrive with unforeseen events and shifts in priorities.
