About the position

As an Associate Product Manager, you will focus on managing electrical systems and components from a technical, commercial, and operational point of view. These electrical systems and components are for our utility-scale solar and storage plants – including inverters, transformers, MV stations, switchgears, and cabling.

You will be part of a newly established Product Management team and will report directly to the Team Manager of Product Management. You will collaborate with our senior product managers, engineers, and procurement specialists, to support the selection and standardization of key electrical components. This is a development-focused role, ideal for candidates looking to grow into a full product ownership path in the renewable energy space.

We’re continuing to scale our solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects; therefore, we are looking to strengthen our Engineering and Procurement capabilities with a dedicated Product Management team.

This is a full-time position based in our new office in Hellerup, Denmark.

  • Support market research on emerging technologies and supplier offerings in electrical systems.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating internal product documentation and databases.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to gather supplier data, lead times, and warranty information.
  • Help prepare cost estimates and technical comparisons under guidance from senior team members.
  • Participate in technical meetings and product reviews, taking minutes and summarizing action points.
  • Contribute to the development of standardized component setups across projects.
  • Monitor product performance feedback from ongoing projects and compile insights.

About You

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the energy sector (internships can count)
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems such as inverters, transformers, or grid connections.
  • Comfortable working with Excel, technical documentation, and data analysis.
  • Strong communication skills in English with the ability to engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Curious, structured, and eager to learn- with a proactive mindset.
  • Commercial mindset with attention to detail and budget sensitivity.
