We are looking for a Service Technician to carry out work on our wind parks in Latvia. The Service Technician's responsibilities are commissioning, fault clearance as well as maintenance.
Your Tasks
- Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance according to Nordex manuals and regulations
- Autonomously complete simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and fault finding
- Carry out complex repair-processes in collaboration with the local technical support and Lead Technician
- Carry out planned maintenance-/inspection-activities with subcontractors
- Carry out repair or exchange of main components in cooperation with the respective specialists (e.g. Gearbox)
- Conduct all preparation work for all maintenance activities
- Perform all work with high quality and in time
- Maintain a strong focus on HSE by following all applicable regulations
- Check PPE daily & weekly to ensure it is fit for use
- Vehicle checks to ensure they are in good condition and road worthy
- Responsible for good housekeeping at site, as well as following the appropriate site rules to ensure that everyone can work in a safe environment,
- Report accurately and in due time: Safety observations, data inputs, timekeeping, maintenance, repairs and Movilizer
Your Profile
- Technical education/training or comparable training and knowledge
- Certified to work as an electrician at least up to 1000V (up to 35 kV is a benefit)
- Good Latvian and English language skills
- Experience with Electrical systems
- Knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams
- Basic HSE knowledge, and the ability to develop further in this area
- Computer literate, able to use MS Office
- Experienced in using technical data for fault finding and problem analysis
- Beneficial: Experience with mechanical systems, SAP, in-house databases, and workload management systems, as well as effective use of data processing tools
- Standard working hours per week but flexibility is required as occasional overtime may be necessary to resolve turbine issues arising at the end of a shift
