Your Missions
In support of the EPC Site Manager, the EPC Electrical Engineer Supervisor for the HV Substation and PV will be responsible of supervising the construction and installation of the 110kV Step-up Substation and PV on the following tasks:
Closely monitor the subcontractors and ensure the construction works are going as planned following all HSE and Quality standards:
- Lead and supervise all electrical works for the construction of 110kV substation and Overhead and Underground Line;
- Supervise all works on electrical installations, unloading of equipment including HV Transformer, commissioning and electrical installations of the HV Substation and OHL;
- Liaise with DSO and all the local stakeholders involved in the implementation of EPC activities related to HV Substation and OHL construction;
- Report to EPC team on a regular basis;
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures;
- Supervise the commissioning works of 110kV Substation and OHL;
- Ensure the compliance with the planning, the quality and HSE plans;
- Monitor the installation of the LV/MV;
- Cable management of the solar and LV;
- Modules, Inverter, tracker and all subsidiary system monitor and review for proper installation;
Monitor, support and control the execution of the works on site:
- Construction Management:
- Manage electrical aspects of construction projects, including developing project schedules, estimating budgets, procuring equipment and materials, and overseeing installation and testing processes;
- Supervise and manage construction activities, including site preparation, material procurement, and equipment selection. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor construction progress, address any issues or conflicts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and timely completion;
- Compliance with Codes and Standards:
- Ensure that all electrical systems and installations comply with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Stay updated on local and national electrical codes and make sure the designed systems adhere to them;
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with EPC team, contractors, and other professionals involved in the construction project;
- Effectively communicate project requirements, address concerns, and coordinate activities to ensure project success;
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving problems when issues arise during construction. This could involve diagnosing electrical faults, recommending and implementing solutions, and ensuring systems are operating safely and efficiently;
- Documentation and Reports:
- Report to the Site Manager the project site activity;
- Maintain accurate project records, including design drawings, specifications, progress reports, and correspondence;
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to update stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Engineering school degree and/or 3 years of experience in a project construction supervision role;
- At least 3 years of experience in similar functions;
- General knowledge in the energy sector;
- High Voltage and Power Electronics;
- Valid Certifications to work on 30kV/110kV Electrical Substation;
- Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools;
- In-depth knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations;
- Proficiency in professional English (writing, comprehension, and communication);
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.);
- Driver's license (B).
