Your tasks
The Risk-IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing projects in the Business Partner Area Energy Trading Risk. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge in energy trading, energy risk, IT project management, and Beacon platforms. In detail this position entails the following tasks:
- Lead and monitor Risk-IT projects, also, but not exclusively, including implementation and integration projects in the Beacon platforms
- Support and conduct business analysis with your stakeholders in Energy Trading Risk
- Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Identify and manage risks and issues that may arise during the project
- Ensure compliance with IT standards and policies
- Support the development and implementation of IT solutions to improve business processes
Your profile
- Master's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in project management in energy trading and/or Beacon
- Strong knowledge of Energy Trading Risk
- Ideally extensive knowledge in the implementation and integration of Beacon platforms
- Excellent communication (English / German)
- Ability to lead and coordinate complex projects
- Experience working with various departments and stakeholders
- Knowledge of IT standards and policies
About the department
EnBW's Trading business unit is the central point of access to the energy markets. We are active in key European markets and on international energy exchanges. The Trading business unit is responsible for the optimal management of the EnBW portfolio, is active in the marketing of renewable energies and thus supports the energy transition. We are also involved in future topics such as hydrogen or smart & digital trading, as well as in new supply contracts and the management of renewable energies. EnBW's business unit Trading operates with an international team of employees from more than 30 nations, represented at 4 locations: Germany, England, Norway and Switzerland.
This complex environment requires a high degree of automation and customized IT solutions. Would you like to help create these solutions?
