Ameresco is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to develop winning proposal and presentation materials for energy efficiency and renewable technology services. The new opportunity supports the West Region. The position is based in Phoenix; however, a Remote opportunity may be available for a highly qualified candidate.
Responsibilities
- Leads coordination for persuasive, quality proposals through organizing pursuit teams, following RFP requirements, writing marketing portions, editing technical sections, graphic design, and formatting page layout.
- Establishes a detailed project plan with milestones, deadlines, and responsible parties – including subject matter experts from various departments – to ensure efficient and timely proposal development.
- Gathers subject matter experts from various departments to contribute to the proposal, assigning tasks and managing their involvement.
- Supports management and technical staff in pre-positioning activities, including capture planning, strategy development, and teaming arrangements as a member of the pursuit team.
- Develops compelling presentations for sales enablement and potential client interviews.
- Contributes to internal project database to capture past and current projects for future opportunities.
- Interfaces and cooperates with the regional marketing team for regional pursuits and supports as needed.
- Organizes efforts of administrative and graphic design supporting marketing activities and brand standards.
- Develops qualifications packages, resumes, project descriptions, award submittals, and other custom marketing materials.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work-related experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, technical writing, English, marketing, communications, business, sustainability or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Additional Qualifications
- Prior RFP/RFQ experience in an energy, engineering, or commercial construction project environment.
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams, Adobe software, and SharePoint.
- Strong document formatting, page design, and layout skills.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in collaborative (as well as virtual) team environments.
- Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize to meet multiple deadlines.
- Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.
- Self-starter and ability to work under deadlines.
