Job Summary

Warehouse Associate who will handle inbound and outbound shipments, job kitting, loading modules, and routine housekeeping.

Level of Supervision Required: General

Job Duties

  • Assist Crews and electricians with material requests
  • Assists service department with material requests and locating Returned Merch Authorization (RMA).
  • Assist Warehouse Manager with Fleet Maintenance
  • Operates various equipment and machines including forklift, pallet jack, and vehicles.
  • Hotshot material and Pick up will-calls
  • Refill all itemized bags
  • Run recycle and pallet dropoffs
  • Keep parts cage neat and organized at all times
  • Reduce material waste
  • Ability to do data entry
  • Completes any general office and warehouse cleaning
  • Assists with other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, and/or Regional Operations Manager (ROM)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competency

  • Must be highly organized and process-oriented
  • Possess a trustworthy and positive attitude.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse safety regulations and procedures
  • Knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizations skills and attention to detail
  • Forklift Operator experience preferred
  • Solar and electrical product knowledge
  • General computer (Microsoft), Excel email skills, and basic data entry
  • Building collaborative relationships
  • Self-leadership and team player
  • Sounds decision making and problem-solving abilities
  • Result-driven and self-motivated
  • Must be schedule flexible

Education and Experience Required

  • Minimum of 1 year of prior warehouse or manufacturing experience required
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license
  • Prior forklift experience required
  • Solar warehouse experience is preferred.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Light lifting and carrying (under 15 lbs)
  • Straight pulling and simple grasping
  • Walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods
  • Operating office equipment and motor vehicles
  • Ability to see, identify colors and ability to hear (with aid if needed)
  • Ability to write, count, read, and tell time
  • Travel by car up to 10% of the time
  • Work performed indoors
  • Must be able to work both independently and with others
