YOUR MISSIONS

Our EPC Business Line is looking for an EPC Deputy Project Manager to support our construction projects around Ireland.

Under the responsibility of the EPC Project Manager, the EPC Deputy Project Manager supports the project manager in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of construction projects. He works closely with the project manager, the project team, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

  • Assist in project development plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive project documentation.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting project meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
  • Support the project manager in allocating resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in tracking resource utilization, identifying potential bottlenecks, and proposing solutions.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate project records (contracts, change orders, invoices), reports and other project-related documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop and implement quality control measures.
  • Assist in conducting inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project schedules, costs, or quality.
  • Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Support the implementation of safety protocols and ensure adherence to relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Track and document change requests, assess their impact, and communicate with stakeholders regarding changes and associated decisions.
  • Provide support to the project team by coordinating meetings, organizing project-related documentation, and assisting with administrative tasks.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices within the project management framework.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

The ideal candidate will have/ be:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil).
  • Specialization in construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in construction project management or a similar role is beneficial.
  • General and practical knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations.
  • General knowledge in project management software and tools.
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, etc.)
