The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Sydney Office, to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in the region.

As part of our established team of expert engineers and Revit technicians, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will prepare detailed engineering designs using appropriate software (PowerCad and AGI32/Dialux).

You will work across a variety of sectors such as Data Centres, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Retail, and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop, and are supported towards professional status.

The Skills

Having obtained degree level qualification in Electrical or Building services (MEng, BEng, or equivalent) as well as relevant experience in a consultancy role within a building services environment (electrical distribution and power generation, lighting design, communication and security systems etc), you will have experience of detailed co-ordination with other disciplines and will already be well versed in the use of relevant design software including PowerCad and AGI32 or equivalent, and preferably Revit.

You have proven ability in producing electrical design solutions, carrying out site inspections and surveys, detail design development, and crucially – you have a passion for creative and intuitive design. Experience with data centres would be considered favourably.

Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.
