Job Description
Join the Snowy 2.0 Owner’s Team and play a key role in delivering Australia’s largest renewable energy project. As a Quality Assurance Advisor, you’ll ensure that every aspect of Snowy 2.0 meets project requirements and standards through the proactive delivery of quality assurance programs. Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance and Improvement Lead, this is an opportunity to drive quality excellence on one of the nation’s most iconic infrastructure projects.
The Role
This role is responsible for performing quality assurance activities on behalf of the Snowy 2.0 Owner’s Team. Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance and Improvement Lead, you will proactively ensure all aspects of Snowy 2.0 delivery meet project requirements and standards through effective quality assurance programs.
This position is based in Cooma and offers a two-year fixed-term contract with a 5/2 roster. We provide relocation assistance, or offer a Monday-to-Friday fly-in, fly-out (FIFO) arrangement for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Oversight: Ensure Employer's Requirements are consistently met, preventing issues that could compromise project outcomes.
- Audits & Compliance: Plan, conduct, and report on quality audits, driving compliance and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Audit Program Coordination: Assist in developing and executing the annual Audit/PCV Program, following up on findings and recommending improvements.
- Policy & Process Improvement: Support enhancements to QA policies, procedures, and systems across all project organisations.
- Documentation Review: Review quality documentation for compliance and alignment with project standards.
- Resource Coordination: Manage external contractors and resources for Quality Assurance Program delivery (e.g., audits, databook reviews, reporting).
What You'll Bring
A degree in Engineering along with solid experience delivering quality control and assurance. You have proven expertise in executing quality audits, including ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards, backed by strong knowledge of quality systems and procedures. Your excellent communication and presentation skills enable you to effectively engage with teams and stakeholders. You thrive both working collaboratively within a team and independently, demonstrating initiative and taking ownership of your responsibilities.
