Technology & Innovation Analyst (m/w/d)

The Center of Excellence - Innovation Networks is strengthening its team by recruiting a Technology & Innovation Analyst - Power Networks.

What you will do

• Monitor technology developments and anticipate market trends that may significantly impact EDP's position in Power Networks.
• Conduct in‑depth technical analyses on emerging technologies affecting Distribution and Transmission grids. Propose new business concepts to be developed and tested as potential internal ventures.
• Structure business models and assess the commercial attractiveness of emerging technologies.
• Evaluate technology feasibility and market readiness of potential investment targets.
• Perform technical due diligence for relevant startup and technology companies.
• Support EDP's Startup Engagement Programs.
• Execute innovation projects in collaboration with other areas within EDP Inovação.

What are we looking for

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or other related fields.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of technology development processes.
• Solid analytical skills with strategic and business‑oriented thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to deliver rigorous, balanced results on time, while managing multiple themes/projects with agility.
• Strong team spirit, openness, and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders across diverse topics.
• Excellent soft skills: creativity, communication, curiosity, collaboration and proactivity.
• Fluency in English.
