The Opportunity

Enel X, a leading provider of Demand Response (DR) solutions, is looking for interns to join the team. The DR Invoice and Payments Intern will work closely with the Demand Response Invoice/Payment processing team to ensure Enel X's ability to deliver on its North American Demand Response commitments. This full-time, paid internship/Co-op will run from July 2026-December 2026.

The ideal candidate will be a fast learner and highly driven to work as part of a team. They will support business transactions, process improvements, reporting, and analytics. This individual must possess excellent attention to detail, an ability to execute business critical operations, strong problem solving capabilities, and the ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced, team environment under time-critical situations.

What You'll Do at Enel North America

• Support Demand Response operational activity to ensure the invoice creation and payments process runs smoothly
• Assist in vendor creation and maintaining account/vendor data
• Maintain accurate account data on Salesforce with internal and external stakeholder input using a variety of tools, including Microsoft Excel
• Identify and implement improvements to productivity, efficiency, and business operations
• Fulfill ad-hoc analyses to support the Demand Response Invoice/Payment processing team as needed

Who You Are & What You've Accomplished

• Self-starter with ability to work as a team and independently to meet deadlines
• Excellent ability to solve qualitative and quantitative problems
• Strong desire to learn, highly motivated to drive projects to completion
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage high-throughput transactional activity effectively, while also developing efficiency gains through process improvement and automation
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Drive to ask for help, receive feedback, and give feedback to others
• Interest in green energy industry or sustainability
• Experience in operations, financial operations, or project management desired but not required
• Experience with SalesForce or other CRM systems desired but not required

The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr. The base pay actually offered will be based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, work experience, education, and internal equity.
