We are looking for a Service Planner to join our Service Center at Vaisala Inc. located in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role offers the chance to be at the heart of our industrial instruments service operations, where you can directly contribute to optimizing processes and enhancing customer relations.

What's your role?

The Service Planner supports service operations at local, regional, and global levels by managing service sales orders and ensuring timely delivery. The role drives service business growth through different service offerings, while developing tools and processes in collaboration with stakeholders.

Together with the team, you will have an excellent opportunity to assist our customers with receiving and processing their instruments in and out of our calibration laboratory. You will report to the Calibration Laboratory Manager.

  • Provide service in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
  • Perform the operative part of Vaisala Care Process activities (CRS core process)
  • Receive and ship customer equipment into and out of database (SAP and SalesForce) by creating and processing calibration and repair orders
  • Support Vaisala Recall, Spare Part and Sourcing processes
  • Opening service request for calibration and repair
  • Coordinating workflow to meet promise dates in time

What will you bring?

  • High school diploma; associate's degree preferred
  • At least three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Customer Service Professional with an outstanding service-oriented attitude
  • Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • A "can-do" attitude for meeting strict deadlines
  • Strong Organizational and Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow established processes
  • Excellent verbal and written English Language skills
  • Team and results oriented attitude
  • Detail oriented with documentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications
  • Experience with and Salesforce

ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $75,000 base salary with a performance bonus plan. Salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
