Lead - People Analytics & Reporting (m/w/d)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Professional to develop and maintain business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, and SQL, with a strong ability to transform complex data into insightful visual reports. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Connect and integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Develop and optimize data models and create DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and report efficiency.
• Work closely with business teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage user access permissions.
• Troubleshoot data issues, optimize queries, and improve data retrieval efficiency.
• Maintain and update Power BI reports based on business requirements.
• Stay updated with Power BI updates, best practices, and industry trends.

Our requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (including Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, and Power BI Service).
• Strong experience with SQL for querying and manipulating data.
• Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Familiarity with data modeling, relationships, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or other cloud-based BI tools (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and complex data transformations.
• Good understanding of business intelligence and data visualization principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Microsoft Power BI Certification (e.g., DA-100 or PL-300).
• Experience with Python, R, or other data analytics tools (optional but beneficial).
• Background in finance, marketing, operations, or other business domains.
