Job content, responsibilities, and possibilities

Based in our Taiwan (Changhua) office, you will be responsible for handling and daily operation of the backstage of (Offshore) Windfarm SCADA, IT/OT Systems and Cyber security. You will be responsible for the refinement of Cyber Security plans and procedures in accordance with employer requirements and local legislation.

More specifically, your areas of responsibility will be;

• Management of Service Level Agreement for SCADA, IT/OT system and Cyber Security related activities including tendering, supplier selection, performance analysis and contractor management.
• Planning and implementation of Cyber Security Processes (testing, regular maintenance, contingency and risk management, incident handling).
• Identification and implementation of technical upgrades and integration of new systems or functionalities.
• Responsible for management of all necessary IT-systems and Interfaces, incl. procurement of required HW & SW.
• Management sub-suppliers for performance management, defining maintenance and optimizing the reliability.
• Ensure daily monitoring of the function of SCADA (WTG, Cables, Foundations and Onshore Substation) and related infrastructure.
• Support seamless integration of Cyber Security with SCADA and corresponding systems (hardware & software).
• Responsible for technical supplier management of SCADA and ICT systems and software.
• Ensure implementation of technical upgrades and integration of new systems or functionalities.
• Support with Cyber security guidance.

What you bring and your qualities

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering , automation control or computer science information engineering or who possesses similar engineering knowledge obtained through relevant work experience (+5 Years). You should have broad experience working with SCADA or critical IT systems, preferably with an operational mindset, and have experience with failure investigation on IT and OT systems. You also have broad experience with IT Infrastructure Solutions, including servers, storage & software including administration. With a solid project manager or supervisor background and have a commercial mindset and the ability to work independently. Experience in the wind turbine industry will be considered an advantage. Ideally, you should also have experience with IT security standards.

The ideal candidate is self-driven, proactive and has a solution-oriented attitude. As a good communicator with a proven ability to build sound business relationships and represent them in project meetings and presentations. You are competent when dealing with quality standards, best practice procedures, technical specifications and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in English language required.
