The Asset Manager reports to the Head of Operations, France and takes full ownership of assigned solar PV assets within the Sonnedix portfolio of operational assets in France. The Asset Manager sustains and optimizes the performance of the assets over their entire life-cycle, focusing on Risk, Health & Safety Management, and the optimization of available resources across the asset stakeholders in full compliance with regulations.

The Asset Manager creates and manages operational budgets that optimize cost while maintaining quality. They ensure accurate and on-time payments to suppliers, landowners, authorities, and other payees. The Asset Manager detects plant issues and drives quick implementation of corrective actions, reports incidents, and directs investigations from root cause steer through to corrective action. They monitor plant performance and ensure production is maximized. Critical checks on-site are performed through regularly scheduled visits and issue tracking. The Asset Manager obtains and maintains the licenses and permits necessary to keep the plant operational. They submit accurate and on-time reporting as required by authorities and other stakeholders. Additionally, the Asset Manager manages insurance claims for property damage and production losses. They study plant data, identify improvement opportunities, and conduct the implementation of changes.

Desirable Skills

  • Solid working knowledge of monitoring and asset management software platforms
  • Detailed knowledge and/or exposure to the relevant local administrative Asset Management framework and power marketing and electric market in private PPA.
  • Good knowledge of Electrical Engineering
  • Strong negotiation skills and an ability to manage external parties such as O&M suppliers, subcontractors, insurance companies, technical advisors, national, regional, or local stakeholders (landowners, regulators, municipalities), etc.
  • Strong communication skills in French and English
