(Junior) Meteorologist

As a (Junior) Meteorologist (m/f/d) at Convex Energy, you will become an integral part of our intraday team. You will get to practically apply your knowledge and continuously develop your skills within one of the most impactful industries in the world! But more importantly, you will see how your weather knowledge impacts energy transition across Europe!

• You are at the forefront of the energy trading industry on physical power markets across Europe, where you will have direct influence on trading decisions.
• You will provide short-term weather forecasts as well as real-time observations across multiple European countries.
• With support from our analysts and traders, you will improve and develop tools to help you make better recommendations.
• You will continuously contribute to strong cooperation within the team.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a Master’s degree Meteorology, Climate science, Physics or similar.
• You are passionate about weather!
• You maintain a high level of focus in volatile and stressful situations.
• You can process information quickly and can communicate efficiently.
• Ideally, you have gained first experience in fields such as stock or FX trading, cryptocurrencies, sports betting, online poker etc.
• You are a fantastic team player and want to win with your team.
