The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for implementing automated tests, tools and systems in Python to verify the firmware & hardware of our cutting edge microinverters.

Typical tasks this role will encompass

• Python programming
• Preparing and executing automated test plans
• Automating test equipment such as oscilloscopes, grid simulators, solar array simulators, precision power meters, etc.
• Debugging software and hardware problems
• Creating and maintaining continuous integration systems with Jenkins

Qualification or Experience & Skills

• 2+ years related experience and a BE in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or equivalent experience
• Object oriented programming with Python
• An understanding of test methodologies
• An understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, including circuit theory and power systems
• Good written and verbal communication
