Are you driven by working with business continuity, crisis management, and physical security for critical infrastructure projects in the renewable energy sector? Your New Role

As our new Security and Continuity Specialist, you are instrumental in increasing European Energy (EE)'s ability to prepare for, anticipate, respond to, and recover from disruptions impacting the company's assets, key deliverables, and revenue streams. At EE, business resilience covers crisis management, business continuity, and physical security. You will collaborate with teams across the business and at all levels of seniority within EPC, , Asset Management & Operations, QHSE, Information Security, IT and other cross-functional teams, to ensure compliance with resilience associated policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant best practices.

More specifically, your areas of responsibility include

  • You assist in the development and implementation of policies, frameworks, and toolkits that manage EE's physical security, crisis management, & business continuity
  • You plan and facilitate implementation workshops, crisis management exercises, and incident lessons learned
  • You assist plan owners with development and maintenance of their security and continuity plans
  • You assist in preparation for and hosting of audits by authorities
  • You create KPIs to track Business Resilience and program performance and reporting for top management
  • You consume and communicate threat intelligence, updates to regulatory requirements, and new best practices regularly

It would be great if

  • You have an education related to security studies or risk management.
  • You have an understanding of business continuity, physical security, and crisis management in the renewable energy or critical infrastructure context.
  • You have experience developing frameworks and toolkits for risk or resilience-related programs.
  • You have great communication skills both written and oral in Danish and English.
  • You are a team player who understands that resilience is a field that interconnects with many different departments and areas, and you have a willingness to understand the needs of others.
  • You are a storyteller that can convince others of why contingency and preparing for worst case scenarios is important even though is it not always the highest priority for the other party.
  • You can speak effectively before a broad range of groups of stakeholders, business partners, and employees in all areas of the organization.
