French-speaking GIS Intern

We're looking for a curious and hands-on French-speaking GIS Intern to join our GIS team for a 6-month internship. In this role, you'll help turn geospatial data into insights that support the development of our product. You'll work closely with our GIS, sales, customer success, and product teams to improve, research, and analyze French data needed to develop Glint Solar.

What you'll do

• Analyze and improve the current GIS offering for France
• Research the French market and improve our GIS decision support for utility scale Solar PV and Battery siting.

Tools you may work with

QGIS, Mapbox, Tippecanoe, GDAL/OGR, Python, and AWS (AWS Batch, RDS PostGIS).

• Are studying Geography, GIS, or a related field (BSc or MSc)
• Speak French and English
• Have experience with QGIS or ArcGIS (other tools are a bonus)
• Enjoy working with geospatial data and maps
• Are curious and eager to learn new tools and datasets
• Bring a collaborative mindset and positive energy to the team
• Are motivated to help accelerate the adoption of solar energy
