Technical Grant Writer

Job Description

Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup dedicated to transforming the energy landscape. We are looking for a Technical Grant Writer position to identify and pursue various funding sources to support existing and planned projects. You will lead the development, writing, and submission of grant and tender proposals to local, national, international, and private funding sources. You will also be responsible for collecting and analyzing these opportunities to determine which Fuse Energy should pursue.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify relevant upcoming government, corporate, and private funding opportunities
• Create high-quality proposals and applications
• Manage master calendar of grants and tenders to track statuses of open projects and begin legwork on upcoming opportunities
• Serve as liaison to all government and funding agencies
• Work with Fuse team members to develop, write, and submit applications with quality technical depth
• Meet regularly with team members and leadership to discuss current and new funding developments

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in English or a related humanities subject
• 2+ years of experience writing and submitting grant proposals
• Ability to work with and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• A natural problem solver with the ability to think critically and strategically to tackle complex challenges
