Your contribution to the energy transition

As our Control Room Operator (intern) based in Athens, you will be manning the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Control Room alongside the team. As an office-based resource, you will practice continuously monitoring and analysing the operation and performance of the PV (photovoltaics) plants under O&M (operations and maintenance) by JUWI within EMEA, alerting / interacting with the local site teams in case of incidents.*Eligible for university internship funding (???????????????? ????????????)**

You can look forward to the following tasks;

• Utilize the remote monitoring system installed in the Solar PV plants, to continuously check the smooth running of all equipment (inverters, strings, sensors, etc.).
• Analyze the daily performance of the PV plants, based on pre-specified procedures.
• Identify, investigate (at first level), record, communicate and follow up on any incident of technical failure or underperformance of the equipment, on a clearly structured way.
• Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System, to register, update and close incidents.
• Exploit all potentials of the existing remote monitoring systems and contribute to the further development of monitoring tools, processes and procedures.
• Closely cooperate with local EMEA O&M teams.

Your energy is required

You impress us with these qualifications:

• Student (University, ASPETE) in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental)
• Basic understanding of electricity and energy production
• Knowledge of English language (both spoken and written)
• Good level of IT skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
