As a Working Student in Central Europe Finance, you will support our finance team in the daily operations of our Central European entities. This role offers hands-on exposure to operational accounting, closing procedures, audit support, and cross-border financial coordination in an international environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities for our Central European entities.
• Maintain financial records with a high level of accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• Prepare and organize documentation for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with various departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure smooth cross-border financial workflows.
• Support compliance with internal accounting standards and relevant statutory requirements.
• Apply and further develop your understanding of HGB in practical accounting processes.

Requirements

• You are currently studying Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• You have a strong foundation in double-entry bookkeeping and general financial principles.
• You bring solid HGB knowledge.
• You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, with business-fluent communication skills in both languages.
• You are comfortable working with German tax and accounting documents and participating in English-speaking regional meetings.
• You have a reliable, diligent, and highly detail-oriented working style.
• You take ownership of your tasks and treat accuracy as a non-negotiable standard.
• Willingness to work on-site in the office, as we believe face-to-face collaboration is essential for learning the nuances of Central European accounting
